Rufe, Oklahoma Ghost Tales It was one dark rainy night I was on my way back home from fishing and a long day of drinking some cold beer. It was a very dark night even darker than usual I had a bad feeling when I turned down the old dirt road that leads to my house. But I decided to go ahead and take the long dark road as I turned down the road my lights cut off. I didnt know what to think I was starting to get a really creepy feeling, kinda like that feeling when someone is watching you and all of a sudden out of the darkness came a glowing green figure. The green figure was about 4 feet tall and had a big axe, the figure       what I thought to be a child of about 7 years old got closer and I could see that it had a big beard and was wearing a flannel shirt with overalls. The figure got right in front of my truck which by this   time had died. As the glowing green lumberjack got closer I could see his face even better and he had no eyes, nose, or mouth. I was very scared and then all of a sudden the figure swung his axe as if to hit my vehicle but all of the sudden he stopped then looked at me and screamed in a very shrill voice and then he was gone just as fast as he appeared. That was one of the scariest nights of my life and still to this day no one belives me when I tell them about the glowing green lumberjack. Submitted by Bozo Cunningham It was that very same nite that three seperate witnesses spoted the UFOs flyin round the county when I caught my first glance of the Headless Woman.  It was a frightening site that I will never forget.  I just past the old indian graveyard when I noticed a phantom like apparation cross the road. The being wore a white dress and appeared to have no signs of a head.  Her hair was long and gray and her eyes looked as cold as december.  I dread driving down that road again because I would truly dread comming face to face with the Headless Woman.
