Rufe, Oklahoma Ghost Tales | |

I was hunting one day in November near my uncle's house in Rufe. It was getting dark and I started walking back to the truck I kept hearing some thing walk in the woods beside me. At first I wasn't scared because I had a gun but the darker it got the closer it was getting to me. I thought it might have been a dog or coyote at first but then I started hearing a voice telling me to come on. It sounded like a little kid, I know where we hunt there is not little kids in the woods so I started to get curious so I began walking towards the voice. I could see a faint glow in front of me as I got closed the voice took on a deeper tone it didn't sound like a little kid that I thought it was at first. As I walked closed the light got brighter. The image turned around and looked at me and said are you going to come on or what, just like a flash it turn around and was gone. I ran to the truck as fast as I could. When I got back to deer camp and told everybody what happened and nobody beloved me. but I know what I seen and heard that night in the woods

It was one dark rainy night I was on my way back home from fishing and a long day of drinking some cold beer. It was a very dark night even darker than usual I had a bad feeling when I turned down the old dirt road that

leads to my house. But I decided to go ahead and take the long dark road as I turned down the road my lights cut off. I didnt know what to think I was starting to get a really creepy feeling, kinda like that feeling when someone is watching you and all of a sudden out of the darkness came a glowing green figure. The green figure was about 4 feet tall and had a big axe, the figure what I thought to be a child of about 7 years old got closer and I could see that it had a big beard and was wearing a flannel shirt with overalls. The figure got right in front of my truck which by this time had died. As the glowing green lumberjack got closer I could see his face even better and he had no eyes, nose, or mouth. I was very scared and then all of a sudden the figure swung his axe as if to hit my vehicle but all of the sudden he stopped then looked at me and screamed in a very shrill voice and then he was gone just as fast as he appeared. That was one of the scariest nights of my life and still to this day no one belives me when I tell them about the

glowing green lumberjack.
