The   ghost of a dreadfully mangled hunter hauling a dead wolf may occasionally be witnessed by a man camping at a campground in close proximity to Saint Louis. A resident declares that this spirit may be a recognized former time resident of Saint Louis. The ghost of a young-looking woman with a rope around her neck was seen fly fishing from the water's edge of Salt Creek Site 24 Reservoir at night. The ghost didn't mind that there was somebody other present. One of the local residents steadfastly declares that this ghost is most likely the tormented ghost of a local resident who used to dwell here in Saint Louis. Anyway, it's a menacing ghost that any sane person wouldn't wish to bump into. A gentleman without a head appeared sitting on a bench in an apartment in Saint Louis. When the bystander materialized the ghost escaped. A number of of the residents allege this ghost is the struggling soul of a long departed Saint Louis local resident.
