A moderately translucent man outfitted as the captain of a ship was seen gardening in the back garden of a residence in Salina. This ghost is very active in this neighborhood; there have been frequent other accounts of this exact ghost. The ghost of a young gentleman in a confederate uniform showed up in Earl Ward Park late in the night hauling a dead body across the dirt. The watcher ran away immediately after he made out the ghost. Several of the folks who live here allege this ghost enjoys terrifying foolish people who come searching for ghosts in Salina. One thing is for certain, it is certainly a frightening ghost that you shouldn't go seeking.
