Just outside of the Indian store in Sallisaw there is a free roaming spirit of a Native American. There is nothing threatening about this spirit and it appears to be contented just hanging out there.
I believe this spirit to be of a young man who was killed accidently many years ago. I sensed that he disliked dying after such short time on this earth. There is also some kind of spirit activity around the cemetery.

to be very sad about something and resent being dead. These spirits also appear to be harmless also.

Comment by The Traveler: I think I may have saw this free roaming spirit you mentioned about five years ago when I was passing through Sallisaw one evening. I somehow got the feeling this spirit is somewhat attracted to someone who works at the Indian store. Spirits of that nature will get attracted to other people for various unknown reasons. However, this spirit appeared to be harmless with a slight sadness about it that I could feel in my own heart.
