Sand Springs, Oklahoma Ghost Tales

I used to live on Wilson, in a three-room rent house from May 2002 to May 2003. My mother and I both saw spirits in the house. There were two in the house, a male and a female; both appeared to be in their late teens. My mom saw the female out of the corner of her eye standing in the living room doorway, and thought it was my sister; she then realized my sister was asleep in her room on the other side of the living room, and looked up to see the girl walking away, and she was completely black and white. I saw the male spirit on a number of occasions. He sat at the end of my bed almost every night, and even played with my hair once as I was laying down. We moved in a hurry after the female spirit opened the door to my room one night when I was home alone; it panicked both my mom and I so much that we left within about a week.

I've experienced one case in my grandmother's house on 12th & Gardield.  2 sets of my grandparents are buried in that

cemetery now.  Anyway, she was bed-ridden with cancer for a couple of years.  We would go see her every day.  One day, a couple of friends and I went to visit her.  We sat in the living room talking amongst each other when one friend interrupted, saying ''guys, did you see that?'' I asked him what he saw.  He told me he saw a an older lady with silvery
colored hair walk through the kitchen and dissappear through the wall.  Immediately after, for some reason, I jumped up, walked into my grandmother's room, grabbed a photo of her mother (my great grandmother).  I showed my friend the picture and said, ''Is this who you saw?''  Sure enough, it was.  I don't know if it has anything to do with the cemetery being so close to the house, but I DO believe that her presense was there because she was keeping watch over my grandmother.  RIP.

I assume you people are referring to Page Memorial Cemetery.  If so, my grandmother lived nearby for years.  I've never been in at night so it's not fair to say it's not haunted.  I've never experienced anything during the day however.  I heard something about some graves with people that are purposively dead that really aren't.. other than that.. not too much.  If you ask me, this cemetery is a waste of time, even though 4 of my grandparents are buried there.
Other than a visit to the graves of loved ones, there's not much to do here.  Check out Postoak.  Now that's a cool place.
