Have you ever walked down Main Street? Well, I have many times. On more than a few occasions I ended up chatting with random people. I guess I am just an approachable person. One day it was a bit cloudy, and I knew the rain was going follow soon, so I took cover by the library. As I stood there waiting on my ride, I looked over to the park and saw someone walking my way. He looked like a homeless person (which is not unusual down town. ) He came up to me to ask for a cigarette, and I gladly gave him one. It was nice to chat with someone.
We talked about where we were from and our life. He was from Tulsa and came down here to find a good friend. He had been homeless for a year, and tomorrow he would head down to Lawton. At the end of our conversation I saw my ride. I bid him good-bye and gave him another cigarette. As I ran to the car, I turned around, and he was gone. No one was there. I looked down the road. I even had my ride drive around the block. Even my ride said he saw me by myself. I wish I would have caught his name to research it.

Up until last year I lived in a house on North McKinley Avenue. I know no history of the house, but I do know whether or not I was home alone. I would feel an intense sensation of someone staring at me nose to nose. This always happened in my bedroom but throughout the house were other instances: misplaced things suddenly showing back up after being lost for months or years and footsteps in the hall.
One time I was alone in the house with my door shut, and I heard a shuffling outside in the hall. It sounded like the drawers in the hallway being pulled out and pushed back in over and over. Then I heard a scratching on the other side of the wall right where I was standing frozen in fear. I had to call my mom's friend who lived nearby. As soon as he walked in the front door, the scratching and shuffling stopped. I also used to wake to my bed shaking gently. Then when I'd go to sit up it would stop.
