Soper, Oklahoma Ghost Tales The ghost of a little girl, and the ghost of a small retarded boy have been seen playing in sandbox early in the morning. There was an old school house many years ago in the location where the two little ghosts are seen. A police officer went to check it out early one morning to prove there are no such things as ghosts. He did not see two ghost children playing in a sandbox, but he heard the voices of many children laughing and playing, and an old fashioned school bell ringing in what is now a vacant lot. It's not always a good idea to check on the dearly departed. Some of the buried will not stay underground in this municipality. Not everybody trusts in the testimonies the residents tell, but the undeceased spirits of Soper are all too real. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a guy sporting a police force uniform       showed up at Beaverdam Creek in the early morning hours before sunrise throwing stones into the water. Numerous accounts of this spirit have been described. The ghost of a security guard with a bullet hole in his forehead was perceived mailing an envelope at a Soper post office. This phantom is very active in this area; there have been several additional reports of this particular phantom.
