From the outside Talala, Oklahoma seems like a typical city, but this city is governed by undeceased ghosts of the olden days. There have been scores of encounters with persons from another realm. Not everybody trusts in the tales the locals tell, but the undead may very well show themselves to you if you stay for the night in Talala.

A lady with a moderately transparent body can repeatedly be witnessed at North Fork Talala Creek around midnight chucking stones into the flowing water.
The ghost of a security guard with a bullet hole in his forehead can be noticed frequently hauling a body across the dirt in Will Rogers State Park in the early morning hours.
The ghost of an elderly gentleman with a long gray beard has now and then been perceived having a seat on a bench in a house in Talala. One of the locals determinedly claims that this ghost may very well be a well-known yesteryear dweller of Talala. One thing is for guaranteed, it

A woman with an axe sticking out of her head is now and then seen looking at the water by Wagoner Lake Dam late in the night.
