Numerous people nearby   have had comparable happenings involving a quite similar phantom. Whatever folks exclaim, it's a creepy spirit that is preferably not disrupted. The phantom of an old Indian chief emerged taking in the vista at Bob Decker Dam at the stroke of midnight. This ghost is enormously active in this neighborhood; there have been several additional sightings of this individual ghost. A local man argues that this ghost is perhaps the undead ghost of a resident who used to reside here in Thomas. The ghost of an old cleaning lady was perceived dragging a dead body from the chilly water of Little Deer Creek after midnight. This is one of those ghosts that is spotted often nearby. The ghost of a young lady clad as a maid was seen seated in a beanbag in a house near Thomas. The ghost did not mind that there was somebody else present. One of the folks who live here determinedly asserts that this spirit is the undeparted soul of a long forgotten Thomas resident.
