In a house that was built, an old lady lived in it for 52 years, then committed suicide. Now every night a door swings open and closes very loudly because she is very angry. One man who lived there after the old lady her saw an old lady hovering over his daughter.
Then he moved out of Verden and never went back. People still claim to see her in an old attic window.

I was walking to the post office when I heard a low moan. Then I heard someone walking behind me, but when I turned there was no one there. I quickly ran to the post office, and the foot falls faded. But when I went into the post office a man was checking the mail.
He was middle aged, about 40 or thirty. He turned around to look at me, and he had no face. I screamed and dropped my keys as he disappeared. Ever since then, I've never returned to Verden ever since then.... .
