Up until then I hadn't believed in ghosts. So---does this mean that there really is an ''after-life?''. Submitted by Josh
Comment by Randy: I used to live on 62 right where it intersects with Ross swimmer. Is the low water bridge the one that had ''Jimi Hendrix Lives'' grafittied on it? Straight ahead there is a large hay field. One day when I ran out of gas I took a shortcut across that field. Out in the middle is a concrete flat headstone from the 1800's. Wonder if that could be related?.
Comment by Corntassel: That ghost you saw was my great-great-great grandmother Susan Robbins Corntassel. Also known in that area as the Adiee Lee Witch.

This ghost story has its roots in a Cherokee Indian community called Addielee which is about 4 miles Southwest of Westville OK. In the 1950s I grew up there listening to my Cherokee grandmother's stories of Indian customs legends and tribal history. She told of the Addielee witch who settled near Addielee and built a shack in the upper forests about 1000 feet northeast of the present-day crossroads at Addielee. This was about the 1900s just before the infamous dawes commission allotments imposed on the Cherokees.
