The ghost of a man whom looked in his 40ds hung himself in a barn outside of abilene he appered to be wearing a red long john shirt a big black hat and pants in the middle of the day. Submitted by anonymous
Minter Mansion encounter. In the summer of 1970, I was employed with my buddy in remodeling the William A. Minter Mansion into an architect's office. Once we had moved sufficient tools & supplies, hardward, etc. into the mansion, our employee asked my friend and I to sleep in the south bedroom upstairs to monitor any vandals or tennagers taking a unauthorized ''tour'' through the mansion. Things were very quiet until 3:30 am, when the heavy wood solid door on the north bedroom (which had settled deeply into the floorboards over many decades in the abandoned mansion) suddenly slammed shut, ripping the top half inch off the floorboards. This made an enormous sound, waking us both up. We made a quick flashlight inspection. Upon sighting the horrendously damaged floorboards, we left immideately & refused to ever sleep there again. Ft. Phantom witch sighting. In the summer of 1969, I was heading to my friend's lake cabin around 1:00 a.m. I had driven counterclockwise almost 3/4 of the way around the lake when I passed a young

lady in dark clothing walking alongside a large field on the right hand side of the road. It was late; I was concerned for her safety. So I turned my vehicle around immediately and there was no young lady anywhere in sight. On either side of the road was flat land; no trees nor brush. I am certain this was an apparition.
