it doesn't. When I play music it seems the spirit that sticks around most often gets tired of the music and turns it off whenever he wants.
He definitely has shown his own personality and what he likes and dislikes. My youngest sister woke one night to footsteps outside her room. From her bed she can see out her door and to the game room.
She saw what looked like a semi-transparent figure walking from the media room and to the hallway. She

said she freaked out and promptly closed her eyes struggling to get to sleep shaken by what she had seen.
Bangings on the wall doors opening and shutting.

Doors locking on their own unlocking on their own. The typical feeling of being watched being followed that sort of thing. Things turning on lights turning off.
Voices. I almost think that my house seems to radiate spiritual activity. I'm not sure if it it's the location the house or perhaps it's just a sensitivity to spirits. And perhaps that activity just increases when you get more sensitive people together.
