I have seen this ghost many times.It always has a rifle with it. Sometimes accompanied by a man dressed in a Civil War uniform. He is usually just wlking the road and then vanishes into thin air.

A person might assume that there's nothing outlandish regarding Alvarado, Texas, but the ghost accounts conveyed by the folks who live here are enough to make anybody re-evaluate spending the night around here. Night is living dead time here. A number of locals assert these stories are lies, but the ghosts of Alvarado are out tonight searching for someone to scare.
