Local people who have perceived this ghost say this ghost is possibly the stressed ghost of a resident who used to live here in Annona. An extraordinarily creepy phantom is rumored to have been made out on a small number of instances soaring across Shawnee Prairie around       midnight. The ghost of an elderly lady gripping a firearm can regularly be perceived by Bentsen Lake Dam in the early morning hours before sunrise staring at the water. Residents allege that this spirit is the undeceased spirit of a long gone Annona local resident. The ghost of an elderly Indian chief may be noticed frequently talking   into the air as if someone in addition was nearby.
