In the alley behind there and just a bit North there used to be an old jail. In 1966 Roy keith hung himself after being arrested for public drunkenness. He yelled and made a fuss all the night before. I remember this well since I was in town when they found him the next morning. And being boys we always 'watched' that place. Exactly one mile east of the Spade highway on fm597 turn south on the county road and the House and various associated buildings are one-quarter mile down on the right. The tractor shed on the sw side almost collapsed was a former area of much activity. You can hear people yelling from inside but you won't see anyone. Pretty darn creepy.
