Argyle, Texas Ghost Tales Twice I have seen the ghost of a man in front of the old Methodist Church by the railroad tracks walking down 377. The two times I saw him it was around 5:15 in the morning.  He is walking close to the street - wearing a baseball cap and blue jeans with a flannel shirt.  He looked at me and disappeared. . The ghost of a young woman with a cable around her neck is rumored to have been spotted on frequent occasions before sunrise following a passing truck on a shady road in the neighborhood of Argyle. Some of the locals assert this spirit is the tormented soul of a   long gone Argyle local person. In any event, it's undoubtedly a chilling ghost that any sane person wouldn't wish to meet. A man devoid of a head can now and then be perceived up on the highest spot of Bald Knob turning toward the viewer. An incredibly scary ghost has regularly been perceived down next to the water at Bolo Point gazing crossly at the witness. The ghost of an old female hauling a shot gun is often observed watering plants in the side yard of a trailer in Argyle. The ghost of an elderly Indian chief is rumored to have been distinguished on one or two instances in Denia Park before sunrise burying a dead body by a sizeable rock. The ghost of an old cleaning lady may regularly be spotted by an old woman camping at a campground next to Argyle. A black as coal cat that transformed into a lady can be spotted time and again mid stream in Bryant Branch mounding stones. The ghost of a young-looking female clad as a house keeper has from time to time been distinguished taking a rest in a beanbag in an apartment in Argyle.
