It's my belief based on what I have experienced in the years I have lived in Henderson county that Athens is the epicenter of the paranormal energies surrounding Henderson county. When I was 15 I lived in seven Points TX on Spring Valley road a private road near the end of the more well-known gravel     pit road. I Only lived there for 11 months but quite a lot happened. The House we moved into used to belong to a junk collector and when he moved he left all of his junk behind. It took us months to clean out the barns and sheds. One Day while cleaning the last and smallest shed behind the House I found a strange statue head made of clay. It looked like a mix of a demon and a human. It was rather strange and gave me a bad feeling so I buried the thing.
