Athens, Texas Ghost Tales I don't really live in Athens but I live about 15 minutes away from it. But my house isn't haunted by an unknown ghost. My mother knew her, Her name was Luanne and about 7 years ago she was murdered. No one really knows how she died or anything. She never seems to let us know that we need to go and check up on her son and granddaughter. For his birthday one year, my mother was upstairs washing dishes and all of a sudden you see this sugar shell fly at my mothers head. I've only lived in that house for almost 2 years and I know better not to question Luanne or her reasons for letting us know when she's in the house.
