For years this community underwent a painful past due to this incident. A church is nearby it's location near the former east first Street. A Street carries the name of the public servant. This soul will not be forgotten.

There is an empty field behind a grocery store located at the corner of mopac service road southbound and west William cannon drive. One time during a night of shopping there I felt an unusual energy coming from the area.

There someone lost their life and left their spirit wandering. This incident happened less three years ago. There is an indication this spirit is trying to find it's peace eternally.

When I travel to visit a friend who lives within a neighborhood nearby battle bend Park in south Austin I strongly sense some energy within the area. These spirits are coming from an insensitive and unwelcomed surroundings that creates conflicts among some of the living there.
Yet there have been past tragic historical events that occurred. The atmosphere has an isolated mood. When I have a conversation with my friend while at her home I feel like someone is watching us mysteriously.
