Custom Search Avinger, Texas Ghost Sightings Avinger PAGE 1   2     The old Duncan House in Avinger has long been known to be haunted. After Mr Duncan died it was past in the family to the two Maiden aunts esta and Ethel mccain. There have been so Many sightings of Mr Duncan in the House that it would be impossible to count. He has been seen not Only in the House but outside walking across the vacant field behind the Home going to and from the cemetery. I have seen him as recently as     last week. He appears to be a solid figure that stares straight ahead and as he gets closer to his old Home simply fades away. The Home was sold out of the family in the late 70's or Early 80's. No one can live in the House for very long because of the strange activity in the house. It is currently up for sale (again) at a ridiculously high price. Unfortunately no one will be able to live in the House peacefully unless they are family.
