A place called flat rock outside of Baird is an area were dreams are broken and familes are made, After mid-night it has been told a person can see a lantern in the small creek nearby where a old woman is looking for her baby that was washed away in a flood over a hundred years ago---but this is not what most people come to flatrock to see. Not everything in Baird, Texas is as it appears; when the dark shadows of the night float in the undead march in. Some of the passed away won't rest in peace in this town. Several local residents argue there are no phantoms, but everyone who stays in Baird is not alive.
These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.
The spirit of a young woman wearing a bloody wedding dress has supposedly been noticed on a handful of occasions hiding a cadaver by a big rock in Bell Park on a dark night. One of the residents steadfastly claims that this ghost may very well be a well-known yesteryear dweller of Baird.

ghost of a 12 feet huge giant may every now and then be perceived staring at the water by Baird Railroad Lake Dam late in the night. Several of those who live here claim this phantom is possibly the stressed phantom of a resident who used to have a house here in Baird.

the onlooker in the middle of Kaiser Creek. This ghost is exceptionally active in this neighborhood; there have been one or two additional stories of this exact ghost. In any case, this ghost certainly is scary; one that is rather not upset.
