I live in Beaumont I think my house maybe haunted I hear creepy noises at night. My brother heares a lot of footsteps but there was nobody. Once I was heading to the pool; I felt someone touch my shoulder. I turned around no one was there. Sometimes I can see an old lady just sitting on the couch. she looks a little like my grandmother. My brother and I feel like we're being watched. I can see shadows of people. There was one night that creapted me I saw a figure but only black no eyes mouth or nothing.........

Although I have never seen any ghost in the Beaumont area I would like to go looking for them, could anyone tell me where is the best place to go ''Ghost Watching''?.

I can understand being scared, but driving all the way up to Arkansas just to get around Beaumont? Some one needs to invest in a GPS....there IS a shorter route.

large mound of huge boulders that has been declared some kind of memorial near Beaumont? If you happen up on this place do not pull off the highway to check it out like I did one time. Something really bad has happened there at some time in the past. I got the strange feeling that I was not welcome near the large boulders, and that I should leave. I don't know if this place is haunted or there is some kind of time warp there. When I was there I felt the presence of death. The good thing about it all is the fact I was not by myself. I have decided from now on I will cut through Arkansas instead of Beaumont, Texas to go on vacation.

On July 27th, 2008 I saw something that I really could not have mistaken. I am sure there are people just like me probably reading this that think just like me, but I am not a liar. I have tried to talk myself out of this but I can not explain this sighting as nothing more than a ghost. Driving on I-10 heading just out of Beaumont towards Vidor I saw what looked to be like

a teenager boy. He was walking the shoulder of the highway in brown rags and had shackles around his hands and ankles... He was alone and there was no cars on the highway except for us. I noticed him because I almost hit him with the car in the far right lane. I looked at him and he looked at me and had a face almost as if he were lost.
