Bloomburg, Texas Ghost Tales I was walking with a friend and I got a strange voicemail on my phone someone saying,'' I'm about to cry,'' it was a voice that I didn't recognize and have never heard before. Then right after the voicemail ended I heard  a what sounded like a woman screaming at the top of her lungs over by the railroad tracks. Spirits are so regular in this place; many folks who live here don’t even worry about it any longer. Several folks who   live here claim there are no spirits, but a journey to Bloomburg, Texas will make anybody believe. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A knight's armor lacking a human inside is rumored to have been seen on one or two instances taking pleasure in the vista at Porterfield Lake Dam after midnight. A half see-through gentleman outfitted as the captain of a craft can repeatedly be witnessed at Beach Creek late in the night tossing stones into the stream.
