Brackettville, Texas Ghost Tales

In the old Fort Clark restaurant 1 year ago I was helping with a band banquet. When me and Brinker were walking and we heard noises out side so we went with Betto and looked around with his camera this is a photo that we took.

Anyone living in Brackettville, TX will recognize this name and story to be true. I come from a family that lived next to the cemetary.  One day my sister told me that the at a certain time of the night and a certain time of the year noises of horse carriages and people would be heard; and, she asked me if I would be game to wait on the proof.  One night we stayed up and sure enough the sound of horse carriages and people were heard loud and clear.  I am now 53 years old and will never forget the sounds that I heard 40 years ago.

Not everything in Brackettville, Texas is as it seems; there are phantoms in this settlement, and they appear during the night. Cabinets slide about, words from nowhere. Several people who live here say there are no spirits, but with so many spirits in Brackettville you have a pretty fine chance of setting eyes on one if you stay overnight here.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

The ghost of a severely burned

female may regularly be witnessed riding on a motorcycle on a shadowy highway outside Brackettville.

The phantom of a train driver may be distinguished very frequently in a residence in Brackettville. Anyway, it is certainly a terrifying ghost that any sensible person wouldn't want to come across.
