Breckenridge, Texas Ghost Sightings

Breckenridge PAGE 1   2   3   4

I lived on N Albany St in 2006. I was a single mother, and a friend had come over to watch movies with me. After the movie was over we were just sitting in the living room of the duplex and visiting. Then we heard a train whistle. It was a very, very loud train whistle and it blew separate times three times each.
My friend, a resident of Breckenridge for most of his life, looked at me and asked, ''What was that?''. Having lived in places like Bowie, Tx. And Wichita Falls, Tx. That both have trains that run through the middle of town regularly, I blew it off and told him, ''Oh, that's just the train. '' He looked at me funny and advised me that Breckenridge hasn't had train tracks that run through
    town for several years.
In fact the old train depot was occupied by a small business now. We both got the chills. We both stepped out side and looked all around the duplex, in front and in back. We saw nothing out of the ordinary. This really happened. We have since laughed about it... We have said maybe the neighbor had their TV up loud... At two
o'clock in the morning.. Watching a train show. Who knows.. ?? It was an experience that I won't soon forget.
