Brenham, Texas Ghost Tales | |

One night after dancing at the Silver Wings Ballroom, I took my girlfriend parking out on the bypass. Do not know/rember the exact location except we got off on a frontage road and made a right into a large open field. We drove into the property, followed a barbed wire fence on our right, made a right at a opening; sandy area where cows crossed, and parked near a small lake/pond. It was about 2-2:30 am when my girl friend now wife woke up and yelled she heard a bunch of people comming!!! She hit my arm and I slowly got up and rolled down the windows. She heard mumblings again, I could'nt hear a thing

so I opened my car door stepped out and was looking over the top of the car when I heard or seemed to hear about 10-12 men laughing and talking in the near distance, and within a few seconds the sound

became very very close, so close I should have seen someone. I got creeped out and slammed the door, cranked up the truck and when i put the truck into gear I started spinning, and NOT MOVING!!! My girl friend/wife was really upset and I could'nt understand why I was spinning. I put my truck in reverse, NO MOVEMENT, just spinning tires, I slammed into 4-wheel drive, went forward and FINALLY the truck hopped, and hopped, and I opened my door to look back at my rear tires and they were on dry grass burning rubber!!! The truck seemed to be held back by something, anyway we drove thru the sand area at

the fence and went back to Blinnn College. The very next morning, Charlie my roomate and I went to the exact place and noted no tire trackes in the sand, wierd....and no burnt grass that I saw hours earlier.
What we did find on the other side of the lake was an old confederate grave yard. ????.

I graduated from Brenham High School. On my first day as a freshmen
there as I was walking the halls for the very first time I came upon the stair ways but something caught the corner of my eye as I looked up I saw two man and another figure hanging from the ceiling (as
if someone had hung them from their neck). I was so temped to scream, run, and hide. For some reason I was not able to move or even speak. I closed my eyes and I began to pray when I opened my eyes the
images were gone. Those few seconds felt like an eternity for me I felt as if I had gone crazy so I never said told any one until now. The sad thing is it is true Brenham is a haunted place because
when you drive on the back roads you do see things that make you take a second look. There are certain things about Brenhamm that has given me that weird feeling in my stomach. I have always been told
as I was growing up that there is something special about me that very few people have but I try to keep myself in disbelief and ignorant because I am afraid to find out what that special gift is.
I
hope for those who do go to Brenham to see ghost that you get lucky to see one but I hope that you are smart enough to not try to get to close to them because you never know what or why they are still
here.
I hope that you enjoyed my experience because to this day it does scare me still.

Theres a house in brenham where voices have been heard and a smokey figure
has been seen.

My friend and I were in the brenham high school lockeroom getting ready for weight trainning. When we heard someone shut a locker, and I told him who was it,
because I knew that we were by ourselves. He responded I don't know let me go check but there was no one there.
