crazy big foot prints, and for some reason 3 crosses made from twigs laid around it. I had pictures, but they are stuck on a broken laptop. There was a lot of activity there.
My kids have there stories as well. They didn't tell me about them till years later. My friend told me she saw a hell hound. I don't know if that's true, but its eyes were not normal, neither was the way it sounded or that it seemed to disappear in light.

I lived in a yellow house on 1st Street across from Coggin Park. I did not believe in ghosts until this one held me down when I was half asleep. I finally called out ''help me, Jesus'' when I could get over the paralyzing fear. It let me go. This happened several times. It happened when I was half asleep, so I wondered if it was a dream even though I knew it was real. One night I was wide awake alone because my husband worked nights. I heard the bedroom door open and felt someone sit on the side of the bed. I heard the sound of someone taking off heavy boots and heard the bump of the boots one by one hit the floor.
I thought it was my husband coming home unexpected from work, so I was dozing back off when the thing held me down again. I couldn't talk or scream anything in fear. I said ''Jesus, help me.'' Then it let me go. I jumped up to reach for my husband who I thought had come home and was in bed with me. The bed was empty. No one was in the house. The doors were still dead bolted, and he assured me he was never there. I have heard that a very bitter old woman lived and died in the house but not sure. I do believe in ghosts now.

Comment by Gina: I live in a yellow house across from the park. Was it the 2-story or 1-story yellow house?.
