Our family dates back to the 1880's in brown county. My gradfather and his brothers bought land from the jenkin brothers (jenkin springs). Later land was donated for the now current jenkin springs cemetery.
There are Indians buried there are reports of a sitting of an apparition of a Indian chief in full warrior dress including the feathered head dress walking at the back of the cemetery. Also sited is a young girl dress late 1800 circa with her hair ringlets and tied up with a big bow.
She appears to be about eight years old. Just down from the cemetery there is a curve and bridge. At dusk you can hear what sounds like buggy wheels going over rocks and hear a horse whinney. It has been told that a couple had a buggy accident there.|
Their horse was startled by a rattle snake and the buggy overturned and killed them and the horse. They are buried in the cemetery and the horse was burned on the road where he lay.

My house on Vincent St. In Brownwood is very old and we haven't lived there very long. My room was technically made by halving the old laundry room with sheet rock. At night my room is very dark because of there being no windows my room is also on the far side of the house away from all of the other rooms my siblings and parents stay in.
