The thing myself and some friends did probably a little too often for their comfort was to put my old 78 charger in neutral and kill the engine, and it didn't even matter if a train was coming or not but if the car is dead and in     neutral then the ghosts of either the dead children or the driver of the bus will roll your car off the tracks. We used to first drive down a road that is no longer there that went from Renfro through to Briar Oaks Rd (to get the car all dusty). It has since been paved and changed routes but you could see the dust disturbed with little handprint shapes, and /or one set of slightly larger ones(due to safety don't be dumb, don't try and force the kids or driver to push you off the track if a train is coming you would be tempting fate which isn't smart) besides I don't know if it still works.
