Burleson, Texas Ghost Tales | |

Hi my name is Dustin. I lived in Burleson with my parents from the time we moved in at the end of May 1991 down on NW Lorna st til I moved away to California in early May 2007. The property that was previously there had burned down in an electrical fire and the story goes that 3 big dogs died in that house as it went up in flames. Well, shortly after we moved in we learned there was something else there that never left it seems and I still get chills telling this story but it's true none the less. The property was rebuilt as cheaply as can be on the same old place the old house used to sit, the house was brand spanking new and looked like a showplace when we moved in til we almost immediately started noticing little things right off the bat. We used to have this white 1984 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme that we parked in the garage at nite and made sure all the doors on the house were locked up securely before we went inside, including the car's then we'd hear the very back door on the garage open and close by itself, then we'd hear the car's

doors open and close by themselves with the *ding *ding *ding going on and we'd walk out to the garage finding the car's door wide open. This wasn't the only thing that happened either, also we heard unexplained knocks, saw unexplainable shadows, and heard unexplained voices as well. My family used to travel with my Uncle's southern gospel group

and we wouldn't get home til about 3:30am or 4:00am in the morning most Sunday evenings and by that time, we're tired and worn out just ready to lay down ya know? One nite in particular happened only once but it was enough to wake the whole house up. It was the voice of my childhood gf who had died just a few months before after a horrible car accident. She plain as day said, ''Hey!'' It scared me literally to death, as did the taps on the mirror in the middle of the nite and my sister's bed shaking violently back and forth as something or someone did not want her in her room. That house is indeed haunted, I am fully versed in investigating the paranormal. I know the risks that come along as much as I do the perks that come along with it too. It was pretty sad that I had to investigate my own house. So far as I've counted it seems like there are at least 5 entities living in that house. 3 of them mostly hang out in the garage, but the old lady and the little girl roam the house. .

park off of Bethesda and me and friends would sit at our mobile home park, and there would be little girls swinging or slideing on the slide and you would hear laughing and things.
