Camp Wood, Texas Ghost Tales When I used to live in venus my brother used to getup and feed our roosters at six a clock in the morning he said when he turned off the water after feeding and watering the roosters he looked up and saw a boy walking down the road whith a gun and he dissaperd by some gas tank or something so my brother ran in side and told my dad and  my dad said his freind said that a young boy years ago was hunting out there and he was cleaning his gun and he didnt no that it was still loaded and he accedently pulled the trigger of his shot gun and thats what people said that my brother saw that day ???. Submitted       by luis garcia I have not seen any of these personally, nor have I been to Campwood at night, but my family has lived there in the past and has told me many horrific ghost stories. Once my uncle   was chopping wood, and it got dark so he decided to sleep in his truck for the night. While he was asleep, something woke him up. He said that it sounded like a horse walking towards his truck. Then he started to listen closer. It only had two hooves. It kept walking until it stopped right in front of his window.
