Traveling on county road 390 a dirt road across the River heading back into town from Camp Wood hills. While traveling at 8:30 am on a Clear Day we saw an 8ft Black image on the road. The image slid off to the right as we approached.
Solid Black and not a shadow. Very weird.... Seen by two people. Initially didn't want to comment as we are not believers in ghost or spirits but this could not be explaine.

In the 1960's there was a terrible

flood in Camp Wood. The crossing, now know as Hackberry Crossing, located on hwy 55 between Camp Wood and Rocksprings, was the site of death for two people.
A young woman, dressed in her wedding gown, and her father, were driving from Rocksprings to a ranch just outside of Camp Wood for the wedding. The crossing was clear even though there had been a lot of rain. The man started to drive accross. A wall of water
