Hunters coming in for the evening on this local ranch have told stories throughout the years of hearing the sounds
| |
|
|
of children laughing and playing. It is explained to them that the closest house is at least 10 miles away. The sounds appear to come from an area where an old school bus was found on the property as
| |
| |
it was being cleared. Legend has it that the bus is from a local school that left on a school field trip 50 or 60 years ago. The children were never found and only the bus remains as a reminder to their memory. Many that have gone to see the bus to investigate where the sounds have been heard have reported as they are leaving the area they have caught fleeing glimpses of children sitting in the bus and waving to them. ordinary things happening. Some of the departed refuse to rest in peace in this settlement. Not everybody trusts in the stories the local residents tell, but creepy things undoubtedly go on here in Carrizo
Springs during the night.

of a Carrizo Springs home around midnight. A woman who lives here asserts that this spirit is the undeparted soul of a long departed Carrizo Springs local resident. One thing's for guaranteed, this is
an unfriendly phantom that is rather not disturbed.

you wouldn't wish to come across after midnight.
The ghost of a bound up guy has allegedly been perceived on many occasions by Allen North Lake Dam after midnight looking at the water.
The
ghost of a hobo can sometimes be spotted in Carrizo Creek going crazy. In any event, it in all certainty is a terrifying ghost that any normal person wouldn't want to bump into.
