Thank you for reading my experience; it is a frequent thing for me since I was very little. .

My husband woke up in the middle of the night startled because he heard knocking at our bedroom door. He thought it was one of our children, so he got up to look. There was no one there. About an hour later he jumped out of bed and threw on the light. I was very tired and a little angry from being woken up again, so I pulled the covers over my head and rolled over to continue sleeping. The next day I asked him what his issue was with sleeping the night before. He then told me again about hearing the knocking. Then about the second time he woke up. He said that someone was gently shaking him trying to wake him up. At first he thought it was me then quickly realized that it was not. He then opened his eyes and saw a man standing at the foot of our bed staring at us. At first he thought he was seeing things, so he adjusted his eyes. He looked away and then back again, and the ''man'' was still there looking at us. He then grabbed his pillow and threw it at the ''man. '' He jumped up and turned on the light. The man vanished.
A few days later my mother-in-law and I were downstairs talking in the family area (kitchen/family room) when she started talking to my son. My back was to the area she was looking, so I thought he had come downstairs. She started to get frustrated because he did not answer her, so I turned to get his attention, and there was no one there. My son was upstairs the entire time, and no one else was home. She said that she saw a shadow of a little boy walk into the kitchen looking for something, and she thought it was him. Last night my husband, daughter, her boyfriend, and I were watching something about ghosts on TV when we heard a loud crash from upstairs. There was no one upstairs. We searched the entire house inside and out, and no one was there. I did later find in our son's closet that a bucket with baseballs had fallen off of his closet shelf. We were not sure how that happened, but they were lying on the floor. This may have been a very weird coincidence, but it was definitely unnerving given the timing of the crash and the show that we were watching.
There have been other feelings of uneasiness felt in the home. Our dog will sometimes just stare at the wall. One day while I was home alone I was doing research on Avery Ranch to see what the land was before it was a multi-subdivision of homes. I had also downloaded a ghost hunter app for my phone and had that on silent to see if anything was being ''said''. There was no activity on my app, and I could not find anything online about the land. Then I just asked if there was anyone there, and a snow globe I have in my family room started playing on its own. I have not touched that snow globe in over a year. (Evident by the layer of dust on it. ) I got freaked out and ran out of the house. I have had ''paranormal'' experiences my whole life and do believe in spirits/ghosts. We have lived in this house almost three years without any incidents until recently. Do you think that spirits can follow you from home to home?.

Comment by Jackie: Yes. I do believe that spirits can and do attach themselves to living energies and objects...
Comment by Vincent: Avery Ranch was actually a ranch. The land was owned by the Avery family. They were some of the first well known families in the area. But unfortunately I couldn't tell ya if anything bad has happened on the land.
