Custom Search Center, Texas Ghost Sightings Center PAGE 1   2   3   4   5   6     In early 2004 I was working for my husband's relatives restoring a century plus old Victorian house that was once the city's sanitarium/hospital. I had been there quiet a while when one day I was outside painting a side porch and all alone. I had stepped down from my ladder and was about to move away when I looked up and saw a pretty lady with dark hair dressed in a simple, but Victorian era dress with a gingham print, looking     at me through a reflection in the glass of a window. She was not inside the house, nor was she outside the house...she was within the glass of the window! I made the mistake of blinking, and she was gone. I told the owner of the house, as well as the carpenter, but they both laughed at me and said I was certainly ''seeing things''. I know what I saw...She wasn't scary, but peaceful and serene...Just like the Grand Lady the house turned out to be once she was fully restored!. Submitted by J.
