I was dozing off in my recliner on a recent afternoon when I caught a glimpse of two miniature adult ghosts walking across my living room carpet. I seem to see ghosts better when I'm drifting off to sleep and only semi-awake. They were only about a foot tall but otherwise in proper proportion. They were both dressed in clothing from the late 1800s, and they spoke with a British accent like they were immigrants from that period of time.
The lady even had an ornate floral parasol, and the male was wearing an antique Paisley Satin suit. They were rather charming I thought. When they saw that I was observing them they became semi transparent like they were able to access a different dimension in a stealthy way. They were talking among themselves the whole time. Then they disappeared completely, and I drifted off into a nice nap with an unremarkable dream.

Comment by anonymous: Yes, that pair of miniature ghosts seem to be making the rounds in China Spring. I see them too when I'm drifting off to sleep. I see a pair of English immigrants from the late 1800s that seem to enjoy being miniature in size only about a foot and a half tall. Then they zoom up a bit to half size, and then they go strolling across my living room floor when I'm nodding off for a nap.
I don't see any harm in that per se. They certainly are ornate in appearance with their Satin Paisley swirl clothing and velvet suede boots and the lady's parasol it has kind of an oriental scene, I think with very intricate detail. She twirls it around, and it's like two dragons chasing each other.
It startled me at first but not anymore. When they become aware that I'm watching them they miniaturize again. Then they kind of dive under the sofa or somewhere. When I look after them there's nothing there. It's happened a few times so far. I guess they'll introduce themselves when they're ready to.
Comment by Kevin: It's interesting that you say that about miniature ghosts. Come to think of it I myself have seen some miniature ghosts in my twilight dreams while I was fading off to sleep. The last time I saw them they were in my backyard pushing around something that was like a small steamroller wheel about 3 feet wide made of a soft latex foam material that had a Paisley pattern on it.
When they came within 6 feet of me they saw that I was watching them and then they ambled over to a tree and kind of merged into the tree's trunk. Perhaps they were gnomes in a parallel dimension and that's why I can only see them in my twilight dreams.
Comment by anonymous: Hey, Kevin. What a funny thing it is to be haunted by miniature ghosts and gnomes at that! I hear that those gnomes are the guardians of the Evergreen trees and woe be to those who take a chainsaw to a living Evergreen! Those gnomes live without limitations, tell the funniest jokes, and can travel to fantastic realms of blessed spirit paradise lands because of their familiarity with obscure spiritual knowledge that the materialistic mortals never have access to.
This is because of the mortal's daily obsession with never ending material hardships that Lord Vishnu advises us to avoid. The neat thing is the nice ghosts of the twilight dreams are the only ones that are real. The scary ones are only phantom illusions after all.
Comment by Ghost Writer: Miniature ghosts what could they be? Something out there is pressing in on our senses, and we perceive them in twilight dreams as miniature human forms often in ornate clothing from an antique time long ago in the distant fabled past, but they don't seem to want to talk, at least the ones I've encountered. I've heard them mumbling between themselves on occasion, and I've seen them leap inside paintings that were hanging on the wall, only to go strolling about in the pleasant fantasy realms of the painter's mind. Perhaps they are personal companions and friendly well wishers that exist as an antidote to loneliness. If so, then they are welcome to haunt my twilight dreams.
