Cleburne, Texas Ghost Sightings
I saw a little man about three feet high also when I lived on Buffalo Street in the 80s. My son saw him too, so did my boyfriend and another friend.|

I've seen a lot of things out in Goatneck from paranormal to extraterrestrial to Satanic. There's nothing to do in Cleburne, so we used to smoke on this back road. After these events I've never taken anyone out there after dark. My dad told me a story about seeing a ''ghost'' and his buddy's car getting attacked by four horsemen waiting for them around a curve, but I quickly dismissed these stories.
My first encounter came around 2011. I was traveling the area by myself early one morning, around 3:00 am. There's a plot of land that an old friend of my dad's (Mr. Paige) used to own that we went hunting on. Well, I slowed to look past the gate and see if everything was the way I remembered. When I looked back up there was someone riding a horse about thirty yards in front of me. As he turned the bend, he turned and glanced at me. I thought of the horseman story my dad would tell and started to get nervous, but I sped up to catch him. I turned the bend, not far behind now, but as I turned I noticed that no one was there. There was a long stretch of road and nowhere to go with a horse on either side of the road.
The next encounter had to do with the spirit of a native woman. I was speeding through the tight, windy road when I locked eyes with a woman on the side of the road. She just stopped and watched me as I passed. She was fit with a white dress and braids. It startled me to see anyone on the road, much less at this time of day (about 2:00 am. ) I slammed the brakes and quickly came to a stop, only passing the woman by about twenty yards. I put the truck in reverse and went back to where I saw her. Only about twenty seconds had passed since I'd seen her. On one side of the road is a huge drop off to a creek bed. On the other is dense mesquite trees; you can't walk through. Yet when I returned to her location there was nothing.
The third encounter was human. Well, subhuman actually. I was driving towards that plot of land I had mentioned. I was approaching the front gate when I saw something irregular. Up the trail a little bit I saw light from a fire. I stopped at the gate and continued on foot. I turned the corner on the path and came into a cut out in the trees. There was a fire going in a hole dug in the ground with something burning in it. There were a pentagram drawn in the dirt and some kind of charms hanging from the trees above the fire. I had heard stories of this kind of thing. I decided that whatever was going on wasn't any of my business, so I quickly returned to my vehicle.
As soon as I turned around to retreat, I heard a female laugh about ten feet from me. Scared witless, I went into fight or flight mode. It was them or me for all I was concerned. I grabbed a rock and headed towards the tree I heard her from. I put my hand on the tree and prepared to kill whatever was behind it. As soon as I touched the tree, the ''girl'' took off, laughing hysterically. I was about to follow when I heard a large group of people start screaming and laughing. Then I saw about 15-20 dark robed people running from tree to tree laughing and screaming. I found a target and threw an absolute dart towards the figure. I'm sure I hit him or her, but I was already on a dead sprint back to the truck. Threw it in drive and didn't turn back. The fourth encounter involved what I can only assume was aliens. I was driving through the area late as usual. This night seemed a little different. You know when the sky is completely clear and you are out in the country, and you look up and can see all the stars? Well, it was completely clear this night, but the sky was void of all stars. The moon was there but no stars. I remember being on edge the whole time, like someone was watching me. I had seen ''UFOs'' out here plenty of times, even having one trail my vehicle for awhile, so I wasn't too scared to see one hovering about 100 feet above the tree line. I figured by the time I got to the location, it would be gone. As I got closer to the location, I remember my radio turning to static. I turned the radio down thinking it was just a weak signal. When I got to ''its'' location it was still there. I tried to slow my truck, but I had no control over it. The steering wheel had locked up, but my truck was still following the road. I pressed the brake, but the vehicle continued on. Then a bright light lit up the whole sky, and I was parked on the side of the road about a mile from where I was when I saw the light. I'm still not too sure what happened.
