Conroe, Texas Ghost Sightings - PAGE 27
(...continued from the previous page)|
I have thought about his sighting and had not come up with anything; now I read of other sightings, interesting. I saw the figure of a man standing at my son's sliding doors inside his bedroom when I looked in the direction of the figure it ran towards the bed where my son was sleeping, I thought it had been him but when I went to check he was sound sleep; that same day friend of ours died about 200 miles from here.
The figure did not look anything
like our friend. The figure was dressed in black tall and slim!!!.|

Anyone know the history or the land in the Royal Forest subdivision? My house was new when I moved in but I found an old copper pole in the ground which means there was an electric pole once here ( I think it was between mine and my neighbor's home ). Well one night my husband and I were watching TV and I saw a small child with long blond hair. Could not see her face but her height and hair was a lot like my daughter's, but my daughter was away for the weekend. She ran from my daughter's room to my room. I involuntarily jumped out of surprise, and when I did my husband looked at me and said '' so you saw that too ''. The thing that bothered me was the resemblance to my youngest daughter in age and the hair.
I think maybe the girl could have been looking for my daughter. I don't know but if you know any history of this area that would be great.

Comment by Ryan: I don't know exactly the history of where you live but there used to be sawmills, cotton gins, lumber mills, and oilfields here in Conroe. If you go to http://www. Tshaonline. Org/handbook/online/articles/hec03 it tells the whole history of Conroe.
All the Mills were near the railroad and Stewart's Creek don't know if that helps. I found another website, hope it helps. Http://www. Heritagemuseum. Us/countyhistory. Shtml.
