I used to live out on Hwy 105 and experienced a good deal of paranormal activity while on the property there. Arrowheads were prevalent across the property, and I lean towards the idea that there was a native element to the activity. I could be way off though. All I can be sure of is that the experiences I had were intense. One of these events happened in the fall. I had gone to bed but couldn't sleep. I recall turning over on my side towards the open window and hearing very clearly the sound of a horse. It was much closer sounding than it should have been, so I immediately went to my parent's room to tell them one of the neighbor's horses was loose.
My step dad and mom got up and we all went out onto the front porch to have a look. We then proceeded to watch a bright orb kind of bob and weave among the rows of Christmas trees (the property was a Christmas tree farm. ) My stepdad thought someone was running around and went to get his truck to chase them down, but by the time he got his keys the light had vanished. We had four big outside dogs who barked if anyone stepped near the house, and they were silent through the whole ordeal.
Another time I startled awake, and when I looked beside my bed at my bedside table a silvery, grape fruit sized orb rise up through it and then through my ceiling. I screamed my head off, of course. There was an incident as well where my kid brother woke me up in the middle of the night by digging under my twin bed and growling the word ''die. '' He seemed to be sleepwalking and didn't remember it the next day. Stuck with me though. We had a string of animals that were maimed too. Our outside cats would sometimes come home with a deep puncture wound over their carotid artery. These marks were deep and really would not have been so weird, but the area around the wounds was shaved. Neatly. They never had any other wounds to accompany the puncture mark, so it didn't seem like they'd just tangled with a possum. We did take one of the cats to the vet to have it investigated, but the vet had no clue what could have done it and just gave us some antibiotic cream.
The people on the property to our west had a litter of puppies that they found with the same injuries as our cats, and apparently the puppies died. Our cats always healed up. In an incident with our pet rabbits, they didn't fare as well as the cats. The rabbit hutch was right outside my window, and one winter night I heard some commotion out there. I don't remember what exactly but enough of something that I told my mom about it the next morning. She went to go check on them and came back white faced to tell me to stay inside. She then got my step dad and went back outside. Long story short, my favorite rabbit had been turned inside out in its locked pen. She was the second in a row of four rabbits, and all four were covered in scratches and had to be put down since we had no idea what had gotten to them. That property was as beautiful as it was terrifying, and I was happy when we moved.
