Converse, Texas Ghost Tales Converse and Schertz are two seperate towns. Schertz is in Guadalupe County,Converse in Bexar County.Cibolo Creek divides the two counties. There are two cemeteries in Converse. A co workers uncle was near the mexican cemetery,when he happend to see into his rearview mirror and saw the glowing torso of a woman in the road by the cemetery,moving towards his car, so he floored it and got away.This same co-worker said sometimes from his grandmother's house near this cemetery,they could see lights and hear noises at times. The phantom of a waitress can regularly be made out downing water from Selma Spring before sunrise. The ghost of an elderly Indian chief may be made out frequently in a desolate neighborhood close to Converse. The spirit of an elderly cleaning lady has every so often been observed at Ackerman Creek at night heaving pebbles into the current. A dark bat that shifted shape into a woman is from time to time seen posting a container at a Converse post office. The ghost of a dispossessed guy has purportedly been spotted on frequent occasions drinking regular from a gasoline pump at a fuel station in Converse.
