In the main entryway I saw a Native American in full attire and head-dress right out of an old west movie just appear out of thin air take maybe 2 or 3 steps forwards before disappearing again. I woke up my dad who told me I was only dreaming but it just seemed to real and vivid to be a dream.
My mother seemed to believe me however as more than once I told her about an encounter I had with 'the man with the funny hat' although I do not recall said

When I was ten years old I used to live in this house. It had a huge area. Naturally being ten years old I would run around there to play despite my parents telling me no. Every time I went through that hall I couldn't shake the feeling that I was never alone.
Pretty soon the feeling spread to the entire house. Two months after moving in I actually saw the ghost. It was a really really tall man. He was really skinny too. He had no face. All he was was a really tall skinny shadow.
He followed me for the rest of my time there. I remember waking up in the night sitting up fast in bed and seeing him at the foot of my bed. I also remember always hearing my name called. I was touched constantly.
