There is a dirt road just outside DeKalb off FM RD 44 East called Spook Road. It is believed that in the 1940's a young woman and her prom date went down this road. Their car was later found under one of its famous bridges with the man inside. The woman, however, was never found. She is believed to be the infamous Clay Lady that roams the bridges at midnight, looking for her date.
