I went and set a plate on the kitchen counter. I walked back to the living room, sat on the couch, and THEN the plate came crashing     to the floor. I know for certain I set the plate flat on the counter. Also, why did it take so long for the plate to fall if I really had been careless? The second thing my dad and my roommate told me about. My dad had come up to visit. I was at work that night, so he and my roommate sat up late talking. One of the lamps in the suddenly got brighter and dimmer, brighter and dimmer. None of the other lights or the tv was affected. Then the 3rd event. I got up from bed to go to the bathroom. When I came back, the radio alarm clock was going off. I turned it off.
