Objects slide around, voices coming out of the dark. Not everyone believes in the reports the locals tell, but if you have the nerve to spend a night in Diboll, you might observe a phantom for yourself. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A creepy skeleton is sometimes seen frightening folks beneath a streetlamp in Diboll. Loads of people who live here declare this ghost may very well be a renowned old days inhabitant of Diboll. A guy that turned into a vampire has been said to have been seen on several instances by Fiberboard Lake Dam late at night staring at the water. A       glowing human figure can occasionally be perceived walking from building to building at the stroke of midnight on a Diboll residential street. The ghost of a young guy in a denim jacket was spotted on the summit of Duck Roost around midnight examining the view. When perceived the ghost came within reach of the witness who then ran away. Residents   who have observed this ghost allege this ghost is in all probability the undeparted ghost of a local resident who used to have a house here in Diboll. A decapitated gentleman emerged by Hog Head Bluff screaming at the witness to be off. There have been several descriptions involving this ghost in the area. A resident says that this ghost is the struggling soul of a long departed Diboll local person. A female with her head and right arm and right leg removed was distinguished heaving pieces of wood into the flow at Alabama Creek very late at night. Further sightings of this ghost have been described. The phantom of a man hauling a blood-covered axe materialized bass fishing from the water's edge of Allred Lake late at night. Several people close by have had matching happenings with a quite similar ghost. One thing is for sure, this phantom indisputably is chilling; one that is rather not interrupted. A military uniform marching about without a body in it was noticed going through a fridge in the kitchen of a Diboll mobile home at night.
