We bought our house in Northview Village 7 years ago. The first year we were here me and my daughter both experienced unexplainable things. Laying in bed one night I could hear children laughing and singing our side my bedroom door. Thinking it was my own children I opened the door to tell them to be quiet, only to find they were asleep in their rooms. On another occasion I was sleeping and woke up feeling the presence of someone standing over me. I got up and checked under the bed and throughout the house, I then went back to bed, lying on my back (fully awake) I felt a hand on my back trying to lift me up. I immediately jumped out of bed ran out of my bedroom into the hallway and ran into my daughter (then 10 years old) who described the same thing happening to her. Over the years we have felt and heard other things in our house. Like, someone whistling and catching blurred visions of a young girl out of the corner of our eyes. We have also had toilets flush on their own. Although very creepy, we have never felt threatened by these things. In fact

I have felt more safe in this house than any other we have lived in. I think whatever ghosts are out here in our little town mean no harm. I did not put my last name, because I have a business here in Fate and do not want people to think I am crazy. Me and my daughter know these things are true and that's all that counts. In a house in Sleepy Hollow, people have seen dark shadows on the walls, doors can be heard opening and closing, and the screams and laughter of children can be heard.

Late at night in Northview village, it is said that you can see a woman running towards cars as they pass by as if she is needing help. It is also believed that faces can be seen in the mirrors of a two-story house, and that the water faucets turn off and on.

A house in Northview Village has doors open late at night, footsteps can also be heard late at night followed by a woman's voice and the laughter of small children. Footsteps can also be heard running down the hall way late at night.
