Flower Mound, Texas Ghost Tales | |

We lived down the the street from the flower mound. Our backyard backed up to FM 3040. One evening, I went to the grocery store at the Tom Thumb which is right on the other side of the mound, next to the mound. My wife, who had been upstairs in the our bedroom getting ready for bed, called me in a panic, saying ''Someone is downstairs in the house! I can hear them walking around and opening up the pantry door. Please come home!'' I got in my car and drove home, speeding the entire way. When I got there I quickly unlocked the front door and entered the house, ready to fight any intruders. I checked every room, both downstairs and upstairs. There was no-one there except my wife. One morning, I woke up and my wife said that she hadn't slept all night. She said that she had woken in the middle of the night because of a loud sound that sounded like a bomb exploding, and that it was a head-on collision that had occured right behind our house on FM 3040 during the night. As I left the house for work, I noticed the police cars blocking the road,

and police officers taking pictures of the scene. I then saw a helicopter overhead circling right above the accident sight. I noticed the same thing. I thought this was weird because I had never noticed that light before the accident occured. Submitted by Clint Trimble
I once woke up in the middle of the night from a strange noise. I couldnt fall back asleep so I decided to go across the hall to my bathroom. I opened my bedroom door and my TV room door was open and I could see the outline of a girl in a dress and a bonnet with her hair seeming to blow in the wind...but there was no wind. I got so scared I ran down to my parents room. The next day I told my friend and her mom about it and the mom told me stories very similar to mine. She said one of her friends and one of my old teachers has seen the same thing, and we all live close together so it is very possible. Submitted by Dawn Martin
