grandpa skipping down the stairs. As he was coming down, the person was waving good bye and waling away. Then my grandfather scooped me up. Both instances were after bank hours. Submitted by Lascano

In a recent visit to Fort Stockton we had an experience in the Guard House. It was a stockstill day. No wind. We all took turns taking pictures in the cell. When I got in the cell tons of flying particles were going crazy back and forth in front of the camera. My sister got in front and nothing. My niece got in front, and it was crazy. My sister got back in and nothing. Then I heard a spirit say ''they kept me here in the dark.'' A spirit followed my niece around the fort.

I used to live Ft. Stockton and glad I moved. That man in black haunts all of that even the Little Mexico area. The old Carrillo house on Young Street is the worst as far as I know. That property was and old town cemetery before St. Joseph but only the tomb stones were moved. I should know my grandmother (Trinidad Carrillo) lived there; she slept during the day and prayed every night with rosary in hand. Finally after one terrible night she and my grandfather cousin came to stay with us until they found a new home, but it follows you. It's always there watching. Submitted by anonymous

When I was eleven years old I came to spend Christmas break at my grandma's house on north Pecos Street. She lived in a white house. I remember one night waking up in my aunt's bedroom to singing ghosts in her closet! It sounded like a choir of ghostly voices with a unique melody! I was paralyzed with fear and wasn't able to get up. My mom had also spent the night in the same room. She woke up with a perfect giant shape of the state of Texas on her forearm! We were from Kansas just visiting my grandma.
