I have several other stories about this roadway that I have written. Rolater Road has been paved and the Richwoods subdivision is almost complete. However the area where the incident occurred has not been developed.
I don't care how nice the homes or the Richwoods development is! I would not want to live there!.

My family lived in one of the old homes (land was deeded in 1902) near downtown. My wife and I one night heard a child crying ''mommy'', went upstairs and all of the kids were asleep. My daughter had her bed shaken a couple of times. She was also touched on her back while laying in bed.

I was probably about 10 when this happened but I remember it like it was actually yesterday. I was walking in my house with my brother who had just gotten home. And I walked towards the fire place a little bit and stopped about five feet away.
There was a candle sitting on the mantle above. I looked at it and then it flew off and landed right at my feet. It hit the ground and with such a force that the bottom broke off. It was like someone threw it at me.
