Groesbeck, Texas Ghost Tales The top floor of the Court House in Groesbeck definitely has some sort of unexplained activity going on inside. I have witnessed it myself when it was a Juvenile Detention Center. I and another employee have both felt something or someone tap us on the shoulder, thinking it was one of the kids, I would ask ''what?'' and when I turned around, no one was there. On occasion, late at night, myself and the juveniles could hear faint voices in the back ground, couldn't make out what they were saying, but you could tell it was an argument of some sort. There are 2 spiral stair wells in the top floor, both leading down into the courtrooms, they were said to have been used by the jurors long years ago when they would go upstairs and discuss a court case. Have never heard of the Court House being built on and Indian Burial ground. I am sure that is a Myth. I would give anything to have Paranormal Investigators go to the top floor and do an investigation. I know something's there. I've heard it walk the floors more times than once. Had it throw something       in front of me one night while I was sitting in the day room watching TV, couldn't find what it was that was thrown, but I heard it bounce when it hit the floor, it seemed like it was 'playing' or trying to get my attention, then it turned and ran back upstairs into the kitchen, I heard every running foot step. I'll never forget it as long as I live.
