This story was told to me by my mother who was born in La Grulla, she had been married a few years to a merchant marine who was over seas for several months and was caring for my eldest sister who had just been born, her husband had built her a home next to her parents home. One night she was awakened by someone knocking at her door, this was odd since the property had a chain link fence that was kept locked at all times and

another entrance was used, she was confronted by a evil being that had a grey hound type dog with blood red eyes, the being said nothing and
|
left. She was terrified and went to her parents next door and re-counted the experience. The next day she received a telegram telling her that her husband was dead and his body would be on it's way home. My eldest sister was three months old when this happened. This little town left many lasting impressions of lost souls.
