It is said that people who enter are never seen again. It has since been fenced off and deemed a hazard by local authorities. You may be punished for trespassing. A man who lives here asserts that this ghost is the ghost of a vacationer that was killed while journeying through Harlingen long ago. The ghost of a young lady sporting a blood-splattered dress can be noticed often walking along a desolate highway in the vicinity of Harlingen. One of the local residents firmly declares that this ghost takes pleasure in terrifying foolhardy folks who dare to disrupt the silence in Harlingen. A beheaded woman has every so often been witnessed in Botts Park in the early morning hours before sunrise slurping blood from a glass. A number of of the locals assert this ghost could be the soul of a local person who passed on here in Harlingen many years ago. The spirit of an eight foot high enormous giant is now and then noticed coming into sight in a washroom mirror.
