Haskell, Texas Ghost Tales

In the school outside of town, it's really old I think it's about 10 miles or so outside of town down a dirt road that I used to live on.

On the face of it Haskell, Texas appears like a typical town, but the spirit tales conveyed by the folks who live here are sufficient to make anybody think again about stopping by around here. The ghosts of this settlement don’t leave anyone unfrightened. Not everyone believes in the stories the people who live here tell, but everyone who has a home in Haskell is not alive.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

The spirit of an elderly woman carrying a pistol has been said to have been observed on a few instances enjoying the view at Haskell Club Dam in the early morning hours before sunrise.

The ghost of an elderly Indian chief may often be observed floating along on North Mule Creek late at night.

The ghost of an elderly cleaning lady can be distinguished repeatedly covering a body by a large

boulder in Weinert Oil Field before sunrise.

A pitch black dog that shifted shape into a lady is every so often made out trying on a jacket in a Haskell apartment. Based on what the people who live here allege, this ghost loves startling unwise people who have the nerve to disturb the tranquility in Haskell. Regardless of what, it's without
a doubt a frightening spirit that is rather not disturbed.

The spirit of a dispossessed man is rumored to have been spotted on several instances struggling up from a drain hole on a Haskell avenue late in the night. Scores of people who live here argue this phantom likes scaring foolhardy people who come looking for phantoms in Haskell.

The phantom of a youthful cowboy may occasionally be noticed playing a tune on a xylophone in a Haskell home.
